Haley Ostrander
LCSW
Hello, my name is Haley. I use she/her pronouns and identify as a queer woman. I strive to create an environment where anyone can feel safe and welcome to be themselves. Creating a working alliance that is built on trust and authenticity is an important piece of my practice. I take a person-centered approach, which means I trust you to know yourself best and will use your knowledge to guide our work together. I hope to empower and support you in taking steps towards living the life you want to live.
I am a certified Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist (DARTT) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I utilize this knowledge to address family of origin trauma and trauma throughout the lifespan. I will often work experientially and incorporate parts work. I will also likely utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment and Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and self-compassion.
I work with adults 18 and up to address trauma, codependency, attachment, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, grief, aging, and life transitions. I am committed to being LGBTQIA+ allied, ethical non-monogamy allied, bipoc allied, and sex positive.
I look forward to meeting and supporting you on your healing journey.
